FA 1435 Introduction to Electronic Art and Design: Blog #2 - So Who Is In Control?

Who Is In Control?

1. Morgan Spurlock had a difficult time finding sponsorship for his film because the movie was all about transparency and honesty.

2. Companies play a big role because they make happen what we see like movies, ads, commercials. They take care of the financial part as well creative and what they want campaigns to portrait and what their company sells.

3. I identify with many brands that have to do with technology, music and fashion. Apple is one I own an iPod and its my favorite gadget. Express as well other clothing brands are among the I purchase.

4. Yes Cool Hunter Research to manipulate and make teens spent money on their product as well they make it seem like the product is necessary to daily life.

5. The Merchants Of Cool have it right MTV has change through out time to fit society as well peoples need. It seems like they address current issues like Teen Pregnancy. Somehow it seems like they understand what's going on in society even though is just a tactic to sell.

6. Of course an example would be Beats By Dr. Dre Headphones. When I saw famous celebrities were using them I got myself a pair and money wasn't an issue. I believe we all are manipulated directly and indirectly by companies to purchase products. Companies job is to sell to whatever cost because profit is the most important.

7. Yes companies use pop culture celebrities to advertise products like gadgets, clothes and other services because they know teens are more likely to buy products than adults.

8. I Believe that somehow brands and products have shape our identity they change the way we think through advertisement and they control how we express it because they are the creators. I wonder what companies are going to come up with so we can buy products.
