My favorite three websites would have to be http://www.facebook.com , http://www.youtube.com , and of course http://www.google.com.
Like many people, Facebook is definitely one of my favorite websites. I visit this website around 5 times each day, so about 35-40 times each week. This is my absolute favorite website and it's mostly because it's my way of communication. It's one of my favorites because last summer, I broke my phone and since then I have not gotten a new one therefore Facebook is my main source of communication! That is the main reason why it's my favorite website. Also, i have family in Mexico and Texas and with Facebook, it is easy to keep in contact with them and know what they have been up to and see their pictures. Facebook is quite interesting, and very addicting. I always think it's interesting reading your friends' status on the "News Feed", some of them are funny and a lot of people seem to use Facebook as a diary.. which is also interesting. I think that is what keeps me coming back to this website, I just want to know what people are up to, and I myself also like changing my status a lot and I always come back because I want to check my notifications all the time! I find it interesting how people express their feelings in this website and just say many things and I think a lot of us are hooked to this website because of this and we keep coming back simply because it's a great way of communicating with everyone. I was introduced to facebook by my friends just last year. They kept telling me how much better than Myspace this website was but i refused to believe them, but then Myspace got "old" and boring and I decided to give Facebook a try and see for myself just how great it was. After a few months, I was hooked on. This website shapes my thoughts constantly, it changes how I view people because when I see a friend from Facebook that I don't talk to that much in person, my mind just instantly goes back to their statuses and what they have chatted with me about. I view people differently because of Facebook, and it has to do with the statuses that my friends post. I used to think that we could only communicate with people through a phone or face-to-face, but obviously with all of this technology, that is not true and there are so many ways to communicate with everyone around the world and Facebook is a great way. I can not imagine living without it, it's a little sad but true.
My second favorite website would have to be Youtube! I visit this website at least 30 times each week. This is one of my favorite websites because you can find videos of literally anything here! It's amazing! All the videos that different people post are unique in their own ways. People around the world are constantly uploading videos to this website for others to see and they are very entertaining. What keeps me coming back to this website is definitely entertainment. Whenever I am bored (which seems to happen a lot over the summer) I just type "youtube.com" and the doors of entertainment just open! I watch funny videos, scary videos, pranks, everything and also watch music videos. You can even learn how to do math problems on Youtube! I can't remember when i was first introduced to this website but I heard about it from friends, they were talking about a video they had watched on Youtube and I went home to look it up my self and sure enough youtube has been one way of entertainment for me since then. This changes a lot of things for me because some of the videos on Youtube are very influential.
My third favorite website is the amazing Google! I visit this website.. so many times each week that I don't even know exactly how many.. maybe a few hundreds. It's one of my favorite websites because Google has the answer to everything! Just type any question and Google has the answer to it right there. What keeps me going back to this website is that Google is very helpful when it comes to homework and research. I was introduced to this website by one of my elementary school teachers when i needed help with my homework. I'm very glad I discovered this website, it was helped me so much since then up until now and it keeps helping me. Google has changed the way I research. Life would be much more complicated without this very helpful website!
