    Porsche Commercial
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRbzJ0L1Zn8

    Character and Casting

    1. William who is a elementary student is the main character.Teacher, other students and the man works at Porsche dealership are the other characters of this commercial.
    2. William see a Porsche through his classroom window and he goes to the Porsche dealership and wants to see the car and see when he ca buy it. The students are just listening to the teacher and the teacher is teaching. The man in dealership is being nice to is customer.
    3. The casting show me William is bored at school but as soon as he sees a Porsche in the street he becomes motivated to buy a Porsche one day and so he goes to Porsche dealership and see the car and tell the man he will get the car in 20 years. The man works at Porsche dealership shows that they treat everyone respectfully an that whoever wants the Porsche can get it because of their offers. The teacher and the students don’t play a important role in this commercial.
    4. William costumes show he is just a simple elementary student and the car salesman costumes show he is working for a respectful, high class and expensive company.

    Setting
    1. The video is set in a school, street and a Porsche dealership.
    2. The setting is significant because it got my attention to continue watching the commercial. It didn’t make me bored. The setting showed me that anyone, doesn’t matter who he is can go to Porsche company that is a very expensive car company and they will treat him respectfully and he can buy a Porsche with their offers.
    3. The Porsche stands out because they make the car engine sound very loud and show how fast it goes. Then when they slow motion it and show the cars details and they added special lights on the car that makes it stands out more and look good.

    Camera Work
    1. The video uses close-up shots of William that shows his face expressions. It uses his long shots when he is running out of the school and entering the dealership, when he is riding bicycle to show he is changing his place and where he is going. It affected the story because when it showed close-up I could see his expression and his long shots and mid shots show he was moving and going to other places.
    2. The camera points directly at characters and it also takes from above when it want to show the Porsche coming. In the end it spin around the Porsche.
    3. The camera acts as the eyes of a character and the audience both.
    4. The camera moves slow that we can see everything and it cuts and continue again when he change the place.
    5. Yes, it does. When the Porsche gets close to William the film use slow motion so we can see the car better and with details.
    6. It is cut when he goes to different places and it makes me to understand what is going on and where he is going in a short time.

    Mood and Soundtrack
    1. Yes there is a slow music with piano going on all the time except when the characters are talking. It makes me to focus more on the film and helps me to get into he film.
    2. Yes they are. When William stops his bicycle. When the Porsche comes into the street ,its engine sound is very loud.
    3. Yes they use it in the end when it shows the Porsche and a man talks about it and music is playing. It makes it more interesting.
    4.The Porsche engine sound.

  2. Movie trailer
    The Bad Teacher
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VihlsPKMh4U

    Character and Casting
    1. Cameron Dias, Justin Timberlake, students, a policeman and teachers are in the video.
2.Cameron Dias is looking for a rich man, she is a lazy teacher that sleeps in class but then become a very strict teacher. Justin is a new, emotional teacher. One of the teachers is very annoying and tries to make Cameron look bad. Another teacher is nice and friend with Cameron. The police man get in accident because he was looking at Cameron Dias.
    3. The casting makes me to see the characters funny.
    4. The costumes show me who cares about fashion (cameon). Who is a strict teacher( that annoying girl) . who is simple, who is nerd and etc.

    Setting
    1. School, McDonald, bar, car wash and street.
    2. It is significant because it shows me where the movie mostly is.
3.School stands out because most of the video is there.

    Camera Work
    1. long and mid shots were used. Mid shot shows us where we have to look more closely to see characters face expressions and long shots uses when they are walking and etc.
2.The angles were pointed at characters, sometimes from left, right, bottom or straight ahead.
    3. The camera acts as the eyes of the characters and the audience both.
4.The camera moves around the characters sometimes and sometimes it stays still or follow the characters as they walk. It makes me to be more into the movie and see it as its real (like is not movie.)
    5. No it doesn’t use slow motion.
    6. The movie is edited by cuts. Make me to see them different places without seeing extra places.

    Mood and Soundtrack
    1. Yes there is music. It is used between characters conversation and under their voices sometimes. It creates a energetic and happy mood.
    2. Yes, Cameron Diaz high heels sound and I think they added more base to make it more interesting.
3.Yes, when they are talking there is a music under their voices. It makes their conversation to look more funny and interesting.
    4. Her high heels sounds, the accident sound ( the police crashed the car) and also they way they talk.

Appreciate the awesome camera tricks, dance moves, and reassuring words of this song. Are you with me?

    Movie Trailer

    Troy

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKQhUzxlml8

    Character and Casting:

    1. Brad Pitt, Eric Bana, Orlando Bloom, Julian Glover, Diane Kruger

    2. The Prince is in love with a Queen which leads to a war. He is able to smuggle her to his city. The king wants his wife back and requests Achilles (the greatest warrior) in retrieving his wife. Early on the trailer demonstrates that the prince's father respects his son's decision to fight for love. The Queen knew from day one that the prince is coming for her.

    3. Brad Pitt is known for exaggerating his role, sometimes to a fault. In this particular film his character is perfect for this skill. I appreciate how emotionally empowers those around him and tell everyone clear, "Now you know who you are fighting." The right after that he proudly proclaims, "Is there no one else; Is there no one else!?", suggesting that he has no fear in this war of love.

    4. The costumes are unbelievable, which demonstrates to that these actors take presentation very seriously.

    Setting:

The setting is a picturesque war type of setting where there are constant rushes of passion, questionable motives, and intense desires.

    Camera Work:

    1. Aerial views, close ups, good angling as well as different speeds are all used.

    2. The zooming captivates the audience for the most exciting moments.

    3. The lighting serves as an essential mood capturer.

    4. The camera moves around the characters and others times it stays in one place. Also, it follows characters as they walk. It makes you feel like you are right there. Uses focus/blur to appreciate the distance between far and close.

    5. The movie uses slow motion only during the prime fight scenes. Not matrix or bourne caliber, but definitely pleasing to the eye.

    6. The trailer has very smooth cuts and editing, very well designed.

    Mood and Soundtrack:

    1. The music is critical to each mood. Appreciate the music change from intense (during war) to very calm but provocative when the queen says "They are coming for me." and when one of the leaders proclaims, "Achilles can't be controlled."
Or Can He? Open To Interpretation

    2. Sound effects include men running and grunting to fight for this great war as well as joining together in triumph for this beautiful masterpiece.

    3. Yes the voice settings are very intricate and combine music as well as a striking tone to represent attitude.

    4. Mood is created not only from music and tone but also by a narrator explaining how great this war is.

Also there are famous quotations from this epic, for example:

"Let them say I lived in the time of Achilles."

I hope one day I hear people in my family say:

"I lived in the time of Ahmad's relentless pursuit of happiness, Mahsa Kasiri." :)

  4. Commercial

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfEKuITKlOs

    Character and Casting

    1. There are no characters in this commercial,
and that’s exactly what I like about it.
    Just one immaculate car.
    2. The motivation of this commercial is inner
    peace and security.
    3. N/A
    4. N/A

    Setting
    1. The different settings in this video are
really what make this video magnificent.
    Appreciate the peace, tranquility, and
security that the presence of the X5 brings
    to different climates, different terrains,
and also different times of the day.

    2. The settings are significant because they
demonstrate how versatile and how comforting
    as well as reassuring the BMW X5 truly is;
it’s quite a work of art.

    3. The X5 stands out not only because it is a
refined, modern version of a contemporary
classic, but also because it is very
    promising and dependable for all
unpredictable surprises that may lie in the
    years ahead.

    Camera Work

    1. Again appreciate the concentration on
different lightings, for example during the
evening hours appreciate how much is brought
out by the camera lighting to display how
enchanting the BMW truly is at all different
moments that you rely on it most.

    2. Appreciate the angles in front of the scenic
mountain, and of course all the different
angles of the X5 itself. The camera made
sure to capture every part of the X5
precisely so that the customer can have a
full scope of what he is signing on to for
the future. There was not one part of the X5
that was concealed from the purchaser.
    Transparency Leads To Commitment.

    3. The camera is able to capture moods of the
    beautiful merchandise. It’s not only
picture, but moods and personality as well.

    4. The camera allows us to appreciate the value
    of the BMW X5.

    Mood and Soundtrack

    1. The harmonious music suggests that something
very marvelous is taking place here.

2-4. When something pure takes place (like
    someone working towards purchasing their
first X5), you don’t need the voice of
others nearby. All you need is a serene
atmosphere that allows one to focus on the
ultimate goal of achieving their dream.
Whether that dream is a car, a lover, or a
closeness with God; they are all
beautiful and deserve a focused mindset.
